Wound Center

Innovation & Research in Wound Care

Akron General offers one of the only medical center-run wound care facilities in the area because of our staff's extensive experience and skill level. We are able to offer the highest level of care for wound patients because of continued clinical research. That means we are always exploring new and better ways to treat hard-to-heal wounds through materials we use, medical treatments and additional patient education.
