Objectives:
-
To provide medical
students with necessary exposure to assess and care for the adult cardiac
patient.
Description:
-
Participate in daily
teaching rounds with the attending and house staff team.
-
Will be exposed to
the diagnostic procedures and therapeutic intervention necessary in the care
of the adult cardiac patient.
-
Work up at least three
patients per week.
-
Attend daily EKG teaching
sessions to gain proficiency in electrocardiographic diagnosis.

Work with the attending
physician in outpatient practice.

Students may elect to work with any of the facility by notifying our Medical Education office at the time of application.
Night Call/Special
Requirements: No night call or weekends
