You can forget about writing a check and stamping an envelope! Watch your statement for a log-in and password to access your billing account online. You'll be able to completely manage your account online - view your information online, make payments, update your billing information and more.

Need financial assistance in paying your hospital services?
Akron General Medical Center participates in the Ohio HCAP Program to be able to provide free hospital care for qualifying patients. Patients must complete an application, apply and have their eligibility approved to receive free care under the HCAP program.

Akron General Medical Center’s CARE Program provides discounts for qualifying uninsured patients. Patients must complete an application, apply and have their eligibility approved to receive the CARE discount.

Patient Price Information List
In compliance with state law, a price list is available containing the usual and customary charges for room and board, X-rays, Laboratory, Emergency Department, Operating Room, Delivery Room, Physical Therapy and Respiratory Services.
