Objectives:

  • To acquaint the student with types of pulmonary problems that exist in the community.
  • To improve the student’s ability to evaluate and manage these problems.

Description:

  • Take history and physicals on admitted patients.
  • See selected consultations.
  • Participate in Pulmonary Function Laboratory.
  • Participate in fiber optic bronchoscopy.
  • Participate in hospital rounds with attending and resident.
  • Students may elect to work with any of the faculty by notifying our Medical Education office at the time of application.
