Partners Physician Group has an immediate full-time billing specialist float position available. Under the direct supervision of the Office Manager MD Office, the Specialist Billing is responsible for all the billing and collection practices to ensure maximum cash flow and minimize days in accounts receivable. Completes accurate registration of all patient accounts. Completes electronic and paper claim submission and works electronic claim rejections. Reviews and appeals payments, adjustments or denials that are not within governmental and/or third party payer contractual agreements.

Qualifications: High school graduate or equivalent. Associates degree preferred. Three years billing experience. Knowledge of medical information systems and proficient in the use of Microsoft Office software, including Excel.
