Responsible for the quality of patient care administered when assisting the Registered Nurse in the Hospice Inpatient Unit. PRN / 6:30am - 7:00pm / Every other Weekend and Holiday rotation. PRN / 6:30pm - 7:00am / Every other Weekend and Holiday rotation.

Qualifications: The qualified candidate must be a STNA and successfully completed a written and skills testing program at VNSA prior to providing patient care. Good interpersonal and communication skills; ability to write legibly. Private, dependable transportation. Ability to safely lift, turn and transfer patients. Must have a personal comfort level dealing with terminally ill patients and their families.
