The Expressive Arts Therapist works under the general supervision of the Director of Nursing/Patient Services, Inpatient Psychiatry and is responsible for direct patient care.
Qualifications: Masters Degree in Expressive Arts Therapy and current registration to practice as an Expressive Arts Therapist in the State of Ohio. Completion of accredited Expressive Arts Therapy program. Licensed as PCC (PCC-S perferred). Demonstrable clinical proficiency. Ability to establish and maintain courteous cooperative and respectful relations with patients, staff, and others contacted in the course of work. Effective interpersonal skills. Effective verbal and written communication skills. Adequate physical and mental health in order to provide all types of treatment. Demonstrated responsibility initiative and leadership skills. Membership in professional organization preferred.
