Accounting - Outside Ventures, located in Fairlawn, Ohio, has an exciting career opportunity for a full-time Senior Financial Analyst Under the direct supervision of the Director of Finance & Operations AGP the Senior Financial Analyst - Partners Physician Group and Joint Ventures is responsible for the financial operations of Partners Physician Group and other Joint Ventures under the responsibility of the Director of Finance, Akron General Partners. The Senior Financial Analyst is the primary liaison for the physicians related to matters of financial planning, reporting and associated issues for these joint ventures.
Develops financial projections and proformas for new physician partnerships and joint ventures.
Develops financial projections for physicians interested in joining Partners Physician Group (PPG).
Presents financial statements and proformas to physicians.
Create and implement three-year financial projections for all physician practices and continue to monitor physician performance to expectations.
Assist in the planning, development and implementation of annual operating and capital budgets, explaining variances and making/implementing recommendations for corrective action as needed.
Creates and reviews management reports on a weekly/monthly basis with the Director of Finance and Operations; with variances of the same and offers recommendations for corrective action.
Prepares proformas for changes to Akron General Partners operations.
Integrates programs and activities with Akron General as appropriate.
Facilitates positive physician relations.
Makes recommendations for improvements in physician, employee, and patient satisfaction.
Creates periodic performance reports for review by the Director of Finance.
Maintains own continuing education and professional development and ensures continuing education opportunities for employees.
Attends Board meetings as needed.
Develops and updates policies and procedures as they relate to financial management.
Works collaboratively with all members of Akron General Partners management team.
Serves as the primary liaison with all physicians regarding new physician practices.
Completes annual on-going competency requirements. Attends continuing education programs and completes mandatory training in order to maintain certification/licensure, department specific requirements and professional growth.
Follows hospital and department policies and procedures with special attention to attendance and punctuality, confidentiality, dress code and display of ID badge, and safety.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business (Accounting, Finance or related). CPA or MBA preferred. Three to five years experience in accounting, with at least two years supervisory experience. Demonstrated experience in financial management in a physician practice management setting. Knowledge of budgeting, business planning and development, contract analysis and implementation. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Proficient personal computing skills including databases, spreadsheets and word processing. Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and accomplish project deadlines. Ability to facilitate positive physician relations and interact effectively with peers, staff and administration.
