Hearing Self-Test

Do you feel people mumble a lot and do not speak clearly?
Do you have trouble understanding the voices of some women and small children?
Do you frequently ask people to speak up or repeat themselves?
Do you find it difficult to follow a conversation in a crowded room?
Do you turn the volume of the TV up louder than others need to?
Do you have trouble following conversation between the front and back seats of a car?
Do you seem to hear better from one ear than the other?
Do you find that it is necessary to sit in the front of church or auditoriums to hear?
Do you seem to get tense and anxious at meetings or social gatherings?
Do family and/or loved ones comment on your inability to hear?

If you answered "yes" to any of these questions, your hearing may be somewhat below normal. Answering "yes" to several questions is a strong indication that a hearing test is in order.

Don't let a hearing loss make you miss out on the many good and vital messages of life. Ask your doctor about getting your hearing evaluated.
