Hair Center
For your comfort and convenience, a Hair Center is available. A full list of services are available to patients and visitors including shampoo, setting, cuts, colors, perms, waxing and more. For a full list of services, ask your nurse or call 330-940-6470, (ext. 6470 from inside the facility). This service is independently owned and operated.

Patient Resource Center
The Patient Resource Center is located in the Common Area. It offers medical information in pamphlets, books, video tapes, magazines and a leisure reading library cart. A hospitality cart is located in Staff Development.

Mail & Flowers
Mail and flowers can be delivered right to your room. Stamped letters may be mailed from the nurses’ station. Mail that is received after your discharge will be forwarded to your home.

To receive mail while at Edwin Shaw, the address should include: Your name, room number and Edwin Shaw Rehabilitation Institute, 330 Broadway East, Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44221.

Planned Activities
Every Wednesday evening a planned activity is available for patients and families. A monthly Activities Calendar is posted in each patient room and lists specific events, times and locations. Activities vary from games to entertainment.
