Epilepsy Monitoring Unit Open
A new four-bed adult Epilepsy Monitoring Unit (EMU) to deliver state-of-the-art evaluation, diagnosis and monitoring of patients with epilepsy is now open at Cleveland Clinic Akron General. The facility features the most advanced all-digital video EEG (electroencephalography) equipment available.

Akron General's Gamma Knife Center for brain tumors and neurological disorders allows patients to have highly specialized, non-surgical therapy options close to home.
