Cancer Treatment Options

Our Ohio Cancer services program is approved by the American College of Surgeons through its Commission on Cancer (CoC). The McDowell Cancer Center has also been honored with its Outstanding Achievement Award. Akron General was the only hospital in Akron, and one of just nine statewide to receive this recognition. The McDowell Cancer Center is proud to be a member of the Association of Community Cancer Centers (ACCC) - the leading national multidisciplinary organization which defines quality cancer care.
