Akron General's Heart & Vascular Center is committed to offering programs that help educate and support individuals, their families and caregivers in coping with heart and vascular disease. Our free outreach groups for heart and stroke, help people and their families better cope with their symptoms and heal through social interaction, education and psychological recovery.

Akron General's Women's Heart Health Program is a unique program - the first of its kind in Akron, to help women learn about the risks of heart disease, about their unique symptoms and how to make simple lifestyle changes to improve their health.
