Diabetes Management Class Teaches You How to Take Control of Your Diabetes
LODI – Lodi Community Hospital will be offering its’ popular Diabetes Self-Management Education class, an ADA certified, Medicare approved one-day course on Saturday, May 2nd. Presented by a Certified Diabetes Educator and a Registered Dietitian, the course addresses practical topics such as skin care, stress management, controlling carbs, and checking blood sugars. Our program covers all aspects of diabetes care, from head to foot, inside and out. Take control of your diabetes—don’t let it control you! One class will be all you need; you’ll complete the course in a day. Our program is Medicare approved and covered by most insurance. Lodi Community Hospital is a part of the Akron General Diabetes Center. You must have a physician’s referral and you must register to attend. Registration deadline is April 10th.
