Interactive Sugar School Session Open to the Public
Millions of Americans have been diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetes, and many more are unaware they are at high risk. One of the most common reactions to being diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetes is – now what do I do? Lodi Community Hospital is reaching out to help people with Type 2 Diabetes learn what to do next with a collaborative two-hour health information session. Role playing with real-life scenarios, Sugar School participants will learn tips and tools to help them take control of their Diabetes. This class provides inexpensive and vital health education at only $20 per person or $30 per couple. If you or a family member has Type 2 Diabetes and you have inadequate or no insurance coverage, let Sugar School teach you what to eat, how to eat, and the best times to check your sugar. Sugar School will be held Tuesday, October 26th from 7:00-9 p.m. Reservations are required but there is no physician's referral needed. Reserve your seat by calling 330-948-5546.
