Sweet Treats Available to Support Good Cause
Orders are now being accepted for Muffins for Mammograms, an annual event that combines the distribution of breast health information with muffins, brownies and cookies, and raises much-needed funds to pay for mammograms throughout the year for women who are uninsured. To fund this program; called Muffins for Mammograms, Lodi Community Hospital, in conjunction with Akron General Health System, will be selling baked goods, provided by Main Street Gourmet, which include blueberry muffins priced at $15 a dozen, zebra brownies at $14 a tray, and chocolate chip cookies at $10 a dozen.
Sales will be by advanced orders and can be made by calling 330-948-5518 or by visiting www.akrongeneral.org/muffins to place your order through our secure online system. Simply indicate Lodi Community Hospital as your pickup location. All area orders or (limited) same-day purchases can be picked up at Lodi Community Hospital on Tuesday, October 13 from 7:00-9:00am.
