Grapes on the Lake Features Global Wine, Local Fare and Microbrews
The eighth annual Grapes on the Lake elegant wine and food-tasting event will be held July 28 from 6-9 p.m. at Williams on the Lake, 787 Lafayette Road, Medina. The evening, hosted by the Akron General Development Foundation, will benefit Lodi Community Hospital. The event features more than 100 different wines from around the world, beers from a local microbrewery, signature food items prepared by the area’s finest restaurants, a silent auction with an array of exciting items, music and a raffle. Admission price of $50 per person includes food as well as wine and beer samples. Raffle tickets for a weekend getaway for two in the Finger Lakes region of New York are available for $10 each. Only 300 tickets will be available for the trip and the drawing will be held the evening of Grapes on the Lake.
