Family, friends, food and parties - entertaining during the holiday season can be a lot of work and could impede on your goals to eat healthy. Your party meals don't have to be complicated or loaded with calories. If you are struggling to find holiday side dishes that are delicious and healthy, then join the experts at Lodi Community Hospital for a free cooking class. Learn how to lighten up traditional dishes such as green bean casserole and sweet potato casserole, and prepare a beautiful cranberry salad and tasty pumpkin dessert. Your family and friends will be thankful for your healthy options.
Samples of the recipes presented will be available. Instructed by Sherry McGraw, Certified Dietary Manager of Nutrition Services, the next class will be held Wednesday, November 2, from 6:30-7:30 p.m. in the Lodi Community Hospital café, 225 Elyria Street, Lodi. Seating is limited and reservations are required by calling 330-948-5511.
