With community-based ER's in Montrose, Stow and now Green, our 24-hour full-service ER's specialize in evaluating, treating and releasing patients faster than the national average. Our freestanding emergency departments provide a critical medical service and bridges a gap in close-to-home access to high quality emergency medical care for thousands of residents in a number of communities. We are prepared and equipped to take care of both adults and children for a full range of emergency cases.

The spacious facilities are equipped with state-of-the-art emergency care technology designed to handle every emergency including pediatric cases. It is staffed by the same highly qualified physicians who treat patients at Akron General’s main campus Emergency Department. In addition, a nursing staff experienced in Emergency Medicine has been assembled to assist with the clinical needs of every patient. There are three resuscitation rooms, and each emergency treatment bay has a cardiac monitor and IV pump. Complex trauma cases will be transferred to the Level One Trauma Center at Akron General’s main campus. Patients and family members will find the new Emergency Department has convenient drive-up access and close, free parking.
