Where to Go
If you are being admitted to the hospital, please report to the Admitting Desk, located in the main lobby of the Medical Center.

If you are being admitted for outpatient testing, please report to Ambulatory Diagnostic Services, located in the Ambulatory Care Center. If you have an outpatient appointment at Akron General's Health & Wellness Center - West, please report directly to the department where you are scheduled. Some diagnostic services are also available at our health center locations throughout Summit County.

Checking In
Once you arrive, our friendly admitting staff will ask you for or verify important information, including your address and insurance information. You can help us speed up your registration process by pre-registering online.
