This information may help you plan your visit better.

   

Be a Good Visitor

  • Limit visitors to two per patient at one time in a semi-private room and three per patient in a private room on general medical or surgical units. Check Visiting Hours for additional guidelines.
  • Check with the nurse before giving any food, beverages or medication to a patient.
  • Check with the nurse before taking a patient to another part of the hospital.
  • Do not leave children unaccompanied in any area of the hospital.
  • You may be asked to leave the patient's room while care is being provided. The nurse will let you know when you can return.
 If you have the flu or a cold, don't visit the patients. 

Nursing units 4100, 4200, 5200, 5100, 7100, 8100, 9100
9 a.m. - 9 p.m.
Children may visit when accompanied by an adult.

New Life Center (2100, 2400, 3100, Special Care Nursery and Labor & Delivery)
Daily from 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Visitors must be at least 14 years of age (excluding patient siblings). Fathers, partners, grandparents and babies’ siblings may visit anytime.

Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU)
Hours vary based on unit activity and patients. Please check with the patient's nurse.
Immediate family only. Limited to two visitors at a time. Visitors must be at least 16 years of age.

Cardiac Cath Lab Extension (CCLE)
Daily from 11 a.m. - 9 p.m.
Visitors must be at least 16 years of age. Limited to two visitors at a time.

Intermediate Cardiac Care (ICC)
Daily from 11 a.m. - 9 p.m.

Intermediate Progressive Care (IPC)
Daily from 5 a.m. - 6 a.m., 12 noon to 1 p.m., 4 p.m. - 6 p.m., 8 p.m. - 9 p.m.
Immediate family only. Limited to two visitors at a time. Must be at least 16 years of age.

Neuroscience Intensive Care Unit (NSICU)
Daily from 5 a.m. - 6 a.m., 12 noon to 1 p.m., 4 p.m. - 6 p.m., 8 p.m. - 9 p.m.
Immediate family only. Limited to two visitors at a time. Must be at least 16 years of age.

4800 Surgical Intensive Care Unit (SICU) and Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU)
Daily from 5 a.m. - 6 a.m., 12 noon to 1 p.m., 4 p.m. - 6 p.m., 8 p.m. - 9 p.m.

5400 Oncology
Family may visit patients at any time.

6100 Crisis Intervention
Daily from 12 noon to 2 p.m. and 6 p.m. - 8 p.m. Visitors must be at least 14 years of age. Children under 14 must have a doctor’s permission for visitation.

6400 Stress Management
Daily from 12 noon to 2 p.m. and 6 p.m. - 8 p.m. Visitors must be at least 14 years of age. Children under 14 must have a doctor’s permission for visitation.
