LifeStyles, a medically supervised exercise and membership program at Akron General's Health & Wellness Centers, was created to help you incorporate not just exercise, but overall wellness into your lifestyle.
 For the tenth consecutive year, Akron General LifeStyles has been named as Club Industry magazine's number-one hospital-owned center in the country. We offer flexible hours, state-of-the-art equipment, a spacious exercise area, locker rooms and experienced, friendly staff.
At both facilities, members have access to more than 200 pieces of cardiovascular and weight equipment, indoor lap pools, steam room, sauna, whirlpool, gymnasium and more than 70 land and water aerobic classes, indoor and outdoor track, youth fitness area, indoor rock wall and many fitness and wellness programs for all ages and abilities. We are staffed by knowledgeable and friendly athletic trainers, personal trainers and exercise physiologists, nutritionists and wellness experts.
Based on physical fitness and nutrition assessments our trained and certified professionals will work with you to develop safe and healthy exercise and nutrition plans, to help you meet your personal health and fitness goals. Additional low-cost assessments and programs are offered through our Wellness Services. |
