Marcelo Aller, CSCS, CPT, HFI
Born in Queens, New York, Marcelo earned his Bachelor’s in PE with a minor in fitness administration from Hunter College. Marcelo is a certified strength and conditioning specialist and a certified personal trainer through the NSCA. In addition, he is a certified functional movement screener, level 1- kettle bell coach and a TRX trainer. His specialties include speed, agility, and quickness training as well as boxing for fitness. His experience spans 15 years working with teams, groups, and athletes of all levels and abilities.

Antonio Altieri
Antonio was born in Akron and educated in Italy where he spent one year in army, there he found the passion to help others trough the world of health & wellness. He holds 6 certifications trough the International Sports Science Association (ISSA). Certifications: Personal Trainer / Specialist Sports Nutrition/ Specialist Medical Fitness Therapy/ Specialist Senior Fitness/ Specialist Strength and Conditioning/ Specialist Youth Fitness. He is currently pursuing a specialty certification in Fitness Nutrition. Antonio is also Certified TRX suspension training. With over 10 years in the fitness industry, Antonio has extensive experience with strength training of all levels and ages as well as body fat loss. He is passionate about helping others discover the motivation to achieve their goals whatever it be, fat loss combined with muscle gain, sport specific training, rehabilitation, senior fitness training, balance and overall healthy nutrition and lifestyle. He understands the importance of tailoring workout routines to each individuals specific needs and circumstances to accomplish maximal results and have fantastic health & wellness.
Did you know?: Antonio attended college at Cassino, Italy. His favorite food is thin crust pizza with cheese sauce and basil.

Teresa Bartko
Teresa completed a Bachelor of Science Degree in Dance from Kent State University while serving in the Ohio Army National Guard. She studied ballet and modern dance and has performed with companies in Ohio and California. She is a Certified Personal Trainer and Group Exercise Instructor (AFAA). She also has certifications as a Medical Exercise Specialist (AAHFRP/MEDXPRO Network Member), Yoga Therapy Instructor (Integrative Yoga Therapy/200 Hour Yoga Alliance Registered), Pilates Instructor (PhysicalMind Institute), and in Balletone (MBA), Reiki II and Meditation. She uses her education and experience to enhance her training with the mind/body connection to strengthen from the inside out for optimal health and wellness.
Did you know?: Teresa was born in a car on the way to Deaconess Hospital on the Cleveland Zoo bridge. Traffic had to be stopped and detoured …a dramatic entrance for this future dancer/actress.

Michelle Bisconti
Michelle holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Akron and is a NETA Certified Personal Trainer and Group Exercise Instructor. She has worked for Akron General for over 20 years. Michelle enjoys working both one on one and in a small group setting. She has a special interest in osteoporosis and arthritis in women. Her goal is to design the right exercise program for her client based on the client's needs and personality. She believes that it is important to get to know her client and their lifestyle in order to develop a successful exercise regimen.
Did you know?: Michelle has two Arabian show horses. She’s traveled as far as New Mexico (by truck & trailer) with her daughter to show them at Nationals.

Victor Bozis, BS, CPT
Victor is a graduate from Youngstown State University, where he obtained his degree in Exercise Science. As a former Marine, he found his passion in helping individuals break though plateaus by performing functional exercise both in and out of his time in the service. Victor is a Certified Personal Trainer through the International Sports and Conditioning Association, as well as holding certifications in Jump Stretch, Spinning, and Water Safety Instruction. Vic specializes in Sport Performance Training, Health and Rehabilitation, and Strength Training. He can help you achieve a greater degree of balance that enables you to live and enjoy your life optimally.

Scott Crabiel
As Personal Training Coordinator, Scott leads a team of 20 personal trainers. In his seven-year tenure, personal training participation has increased by 163%. He is a Club Industry Nova 7 award recipient (2005) and was awarded as one of Akron General's top 10 employees in 2006 (Spirit and Values Award). In addition to serving his one-to-one clientele, Scott serves as an industry consultant and is an accomplished speaker. He has presented on the local, regional, and national level. Scott is a frequent contributor to the Akron Beacon Journal and repeat guest on the WAKR Ray Horner radio program. In addition to his personal training responsibilities, Crabiel is also a certified WellCoach through the American College of Sports Medicine. This service provides clients with the tools to create permanent behavior change in various areas of wellness.
Did you know?: Scott was born in Richardson, Texas. (just down the street from Lance Armstrong). When he’s not working, Scott enjoys reading, the beach, and spending time with family.

Jane Eibel
Jane Eibel has been a member of the LifeStyles Personal Training Team since October of 2006. She's a graduate of Malone College and a Certified Personal Trainer through NPTI. Jane is one of LifeStyles most creative and innovative Personal Trainers. Not only does she create exercise programs that are enjoyable, she also skilled in adapting to any age group, Jane is passionate in the well-being of her clients. Her results driven programs challenge her clients to create balance and a healthy lifestyle through physical, nutritional, and mental strength.

Crystal Winfrey-Ellington
Born and raised in Columbus, Ohio, Crystal attended Ball State University earning her Exercise Science and Sports Medicine degree. While there she was a student-athlete in track and field as well as a member of the student-athlete advisory board. Post college, Crystal returned home to become an Exercise Physiologist working with all levels of athletes, weight loss and general fitness clients. In addition, she also became an ambassador for the American Heart Association by becoming a member of their Speakers Bureau. Crystal is a Certified Personal Trainer who loves being creative with various exercise formats including circuit training, cardio intervals, and total body workouts. One of her favorite quotes is: “In order to get change, you have to make change.”
Did you know?: Crystal achieved fame as a 4X national and world racquetball champion… just not as much fame as her Winfrey cousin.
Cristy Esposito
Cristy earned a B.A. in Sociology and Psychology. She is a certified personal trainer through AAPTE and specializes in High Intensity, Interval Training. Cristy enjoys working with people who have knee, back and shoulder issues. She believes everything builds off of a strong core.
Her philosophy is: Personal training is simply how it sounds, personal. Training is not one size fits all. It's about a custom made program based on each client's needs that will simultaneously educate, guide and motivate him/her. The body is always growing tolerant of repetitive motion and as a trainer I constantly challenge my clients with new exercises. Challenging new exercises provide variety and shock the body so my clients can build lean muscle, shed fat and ultimately be more healthy and fit.

Karen Feakes
Karen has worked as a personal trainer for 20 years. The past 11 years have been spent at Akron General LifeStyles. Karen provides training services to a wide variety of clients. Her expertise is concentrated in helping people with multiple health concerns and orthopedic injuries. She has worked long term with clients who need to be closely monitored and require the medical approach to training. She also provides endurance coaching for triathletes, cyclists and runners. Karen implemented the LifeStyles Sprint Triathlon and training program, the program continues to be successful and has provided members with a great training opportunity. In addition to her training at LifeStyles, Karen also teaches Personal Training Fundamentals at a local college. Karen has taught group exercise for 13 years, teaching formats such as Advanced Cycle Skills, Cycle 60, boot camp and various aqua classes.
Did you know?: Karen is from Stourport-on-Severn, England. If given the opportunity she’d have a conversation with Princess Diana … she had a very special way with people.

Michelle Giancarli
After graduating from college, Michelle was employed at Medina Community Hospital for three years. She then took her passion for working with people to Tokos Medical Corporation. Tokos was a home health company that specialized in the management of high risk and pre-term pregnancies. Michelle has been an employee at the Health & Wellness Center since it opened. She is certified in personal training and TRX training. Michelle’s clients have consistently had great success with weight management as well as cardiovascular and core strength training. Along with traditional personal training, Michelle has further set herself apart by developing small group training. These small groups work together to help each member achieve their fitness goals.
Did you know?: When Michelle started her fitness career she was nearly 40 years old and 35 pounds over weight. Oh, and her favorite food? White cake from Giant Eagle (with a hint of almond extract in it).

Billy Gray
Billy completed his Bachelor of Science in Education (Health and Physical Education), and is certified as: American Council on Exercise Certified Personal Trainer, TRX Suspension Training Certified, and TPI (Titleist Performance Institute) Certified.
He specializes in helping people achieve their personal goals. Examples include: helping 5 clients to lose over 50lbs in the past 2 years; one of his clients lost over 70lbs and another lost over 100lbs. Over the past two years, Billy has worked with two Autistic boys, with one losing 36lbs.
Billy's philosophy: The heart is an amazing muscle; my training routines will keep the heart rate up and keep you moving. The routines will be very diverse and they will challenge you while getting your whole body involved in movements. I believe in a good balance of Cardio, Core, Balance, and Strength training. I will help you reach your fitness and wellness goals and give you the tools to keep you there. Making the decision to work on your fitness and wellness is one that can positively affect the rest of your life.

Annette Gursky
Annette is a Certified Personal Trainer and Certified Corrective Exercise Specialist through the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM). As a graduate from The University of Toledo, she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science. Annette specializes in assessing and improving posture, core and muscular strength, flexibility, and stability for functional movement and to ease the challenge of activities for daily living. Because of her expertise, Annette can also help design a program for pre-operational and post-therapy patients. She is also experienced with the suspension trainer, TRX. By implementing her weight loss techniques in addition to each individual’s goals and objectives, she will produce a specialized plan that will yield positive results.
Did you know?: Annette loves rock climbing! It definitely takes me out of my comfort zone and "scares" me... most of the time.

Amy Hovan, BS
Amy is a graduate of Youngstown State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science where she was a member of the cross country and track teams. She is also a graduate of the University of Akron with a Master’s degree in Physical Education. Amy enjoys running and has competed in the 2009 and 2010 Boston Marathon. Amy is currently the head varsity boys and girls swim coach at Akron Archbishop Hoban High School. She enjoys training clients of all abilities and levels from newcomers to sport specific athletes and specializes in running and swimming training.

Ryan Jaworski, BS
Ryan is a graduate of Kent State University with a Bachelors of Science in Exercise Science. He is a Certified Personal Trainer through the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM). Since 2007, Ryan has worked with a wide variety of clientele in reaching their fitness goals. His specialization is in developing weight loss programs for people with diabetes.
Did you know?: Ryan threw shot & disc in middle school track because his coach deemed him too slow and fat to run.

Rob Justine, BS
Rob is a Certified Personal Trainer with over 17 years of experience and has a BS in Exercise Science. He is a certified MMA conditioning coach with Nesta and is also certified with ISSA. Rob specializes in functional training, sport specific training, and strength and conditioning. He is passionate about helping others achieve their health and fitness goals and improving the quality of their life.
