Our Mission Statement:
The Recreation Department of Akron General LifeStyles is committed to providing unique and quality programs for LifeStyles members of varied ages and interests to help them achieve their fitness and wellness goals, while having fun. In addition, the Recreation Department can provide activities for community groups, such as team-building activities for corporations, badge certifications for scout groups, sports clinics or parties, just for the fun of it.
 Rock Wall Climbing Hours (West & North)
Weekly supervised Open Climbs for Adult and Children Members. A certified staff member will be present to teach proper climbing techniques.
Monday 7:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.(North Only)
Wednesday 7:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
Fridays 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. (North and West)
Rock Wall Certification Courses
North - Certification courses for LifeStyles North are be held the 3rd and 4th Tuesday of each month. Learn the fundamentals of climbing and proper techniques of belaying in order to add more to your normal workout routine. Attendance on both days is mandatory to obtain a Rock Wall Certification. Classes are held from 6-8 pm and are free for members ages 16 and older. Call 330-945-3146 to register.

 Birthday Parties (West 330-665-8139 and North 330-945-3146)
Does someone you know have an important birthday coming up? There isn't a better place in town than LifeStyles to host a birthday party! Choose from our packages or create your own al a carte to create the perfect birthday celebration. Activity areas available include Gymnasium, Swimming Pools, Kidstyles and the Rock Wall.
