Akron General is a Level I Trauma Center as Verified by the American College of Surgeons and is Summit County's only Chest Pain Center and Primary Stroke Center. We also offer a Level III Obstetric Service and a Cancer Program that's Approved by the American College of Surgeons, Commission on Cancer.
