Since 2006, the Akron General Foundation’s “Supporting Our Staff” (SOS) fund has been providing financial support to Cleveland Clinic Akron General caregivers who are experiencing financial difficulties due to a major life crisis. The committee has granted 274 caregivers a total of $262,179.91 in crisis assistance since the fund’s inception.
This couldn’t have been done without your help! As one recipient commented, “Words can’t begin to express the gratitude I have for your decision to help me and my family. We are facing a very difficult time right now and the assistance will help us tremendously.”
