A childbirth preparation class for teen moms and their support person(s). Attendees will:
Learn how to have a healthy pregnancy and birth.
Learn what is happening to your body and your baby during labor and delivery.
Learn what medical procedures may occur in the hospital, and what medications are available.
Cesarean Section information, just in case one is necessary.
Relaxation and breathing techniques are offered and encouraged to help ease the process of childbirth.
Class discussion will also include why breastfeeding is so important for your baby, as well as how to breastfeed. You will have the opportunity to practice correct positioning with dolls.

* Baby Care – This class prepares teen parents to take care of the new baby. Learn what the changes will be in your life, what to expect with your new baby, and what kind of help you may need at home.
