Cardiovascular disease is everyone’s No. 1 health risk. Akron General’s Heart & Vascular Center joins allied health care professionals and volunteers for a free community cardiovascular screening for those without health insurance or who are under-insured. The goal is to help identify and educate individuals at high risk for heart disease, atrial fibrillation, stroke, peripheral vascular disease (PVD) and abdominal aortic aneurysm (AAA) and develop ways to increase health and prevent illness. Appointments are 20-30 minutes.
