Akron General Medical Center is one of Northeast Ohio's best hospitals to practice medicine because it is also one of Northeast Ohio's most comprehensive centers for learning medicine. In collaboration with Northeastern Ohio Universities Colleges of Medicine and Pharmacy (NEOUCOM) and other respected medical schools, Akron General offers clinical training to medical students, residents, paramedics, nurses and a variety of healthcare learners. The Medical Center also offers continuing medical education including memorial lectures, clinical symposiums and medical grand rounds.
