Objectives:
To acquaint the student with types of pulmonary problems that exist in the community.
To improve the student’s ability to evaluate and manage these problems.
Description:
Take history and physicals on admitted patients.
See selected consultations.
Participate in Pulmonary Function Laboratory.
Participate in fiber optic bronchoscopy.
Participate in hospital rounds with attending and resident.
Students may elect to work with any of the faculty by notifying our Medical Education office at the time of application.
