Akron General's "Dining with Diabetes" series is a two-session program open to anyone with diabetes, at risk for diabetes or who wants more information on diabetes. Classes include demonstrations on how to prepare meals that are healthy and use less fat, salt and sugar without cutting taste. Topics include carbohydrates, sweeteners, fats, sodiumand general diabetes information. The series will be held on Tuesdays, April 17 & 24, from 6-8 p.m. in the Frasche Classroom, Akron General Medical Center main campus, 400 Wabash Avenue, Akron. Cost is $10 for the series.
