The Akron General Health System and its affiliated boards of directors have announced several new officers and directors to their respective boards.
For Akron General Health System, Mark Lerner, President of GOJO Industries in Akron, has been named chairman, and William Babcox, President of Babcox Publications, is vice chairman. Richard Fedorovich, CEO and Managing Partner of Bober Markey Fedorovich and Co., has been appointed to a director’s position with the health system board.
For Akron General Hospitals, William Frantz, President of Sandridge Food Corporation, is the new chairman, and Theresa Carter, President of Omnova Solutions Foundation, is vice chairman. New board members are Sonia Alemagno, Dean of the College of Public Health at Kent State University, and Todd Breaux, MD, a physician with Akron General Center for Urologic Health.
For the Akron General Foundation, Mark Mosley, Akron Regional Manager for Huntington Wealth Advisors, has been named chairman, and Richard Harris, an attorney and partner at Brouse McDowell, vice chairman. Laura Culp, a partner with Brockman, Coats, Gedelian & Co., is a new director for the Foundation board.
For Akron General Partners, Anthony Tricomi, President and CEO of PFI Displays, Inc., is chairman and J. Bret Treier, a partner in the law offices of Vorys, Sater, Seymour and Pease, is vice chairman. New board members are Dean Asimes, President of the Norwood Group, Robert Knapp, Senior Vice President at Sterling Jewelers, and Robert Cooper, a director with the CBRE Development Company.
For Community Health Ventures, Inc., Charles Billow, President of The Billow Company, is the new chairman.
For Partners Physician Group, Michael Gallucci, President of The Cornerstone Company, has been appointed chairman, while Akron General’s Center for Family Medicine Director Elliot B. Davidson, MD, is vice chairman. New PPG directors are John Coyne, an attorney with Roetzel and Andress; Tucker Marshall, vice president of The Reserve Group; and David Zajac, vice president at Meaden and Moore.
For the Hospice Care Ohio board, the Rev. Sandy Selby of the Furnace Mission is the new chair.
