There is a significant body of research indicating that spirituality promotes better physical health and greater longevity. On Thursday, October 18, from 7-9 p.m. at Akron General’s Health & Wellness Center – West, 4125 Medina Road, Montrose, Rev. Sandra Selby will present research-based frameworks for examining the relationshipbetween spirituality and health. During the presentation, participants will be invited to consider how an integrated approach incorporating attention to body, mind and spiritcontributes to healing, and explore avenues by which we can cultivate our own spirituality. This will be an interfaith conversation that will consider how Western religions, Eastern religions, and secular humanism approach this important topic. Akron General’s Integrative Medicine Committee is pleased to offer this free presentation. Please call 330-344-6361 with any questions.
