Akron General Partners Physician Group (PPG) recently welcomed new physicians in a number of different specialties that strengthen its already comprehensive ranks.
Heart and Lung Surgery of Akron:
Nathaniel S. Laden, MS, MD Dr. Laden specializes in Cardiothoracic Surgery at Heart and Lung Surgery of Akron, including coronary artery bypass surgery, lung cancer surgery, mitral valve repair and replacement, robotic heart and lung surgery, and surgical arrhythmia intervention. He is trained in minimally invasive robotic and thorascopic surgery, which may help reduce pain, scarring and length of hospital stay. Dr. Laden graduated from the Medical College of Ohio at Toledo and completed his residency requirements at University of Alabama Hospital and Medical College of Ohio Hospital. His fellowship was completed at University Hospitals of Cleveland, Case Western Reserve University and the Cleveland Clinic Foundation.
