Breast Oncology Fellowship Program

Dear Candidate,

Thank you for your interest in our Breast Oncology Fellowship. At Akron General Medical Center you will receive a comprehensive experience in the evaluation, diagnosis and treatment of benign and malignant breast disease. At our program, you will be active in the Breast Health Center seeing your own patients as well as those of the Attending Breast Surgeons. Also, there is ample opportunity for clinical and basic science research and involvement in clinical trials. Didactic sessions include tumor conference, journal club, and regional & national meetings.

In addition, the multidisciplinary non-surgical core curriculum completes a well-rounded fellowship experience. Importantly, our program is fully accredited by the Society of Surgical Oncology, the American Society of Breast Surgeons and the American Society of Breast Disease.

We are very proud of our Breast Health Center and approach to breast care at Akron General and look forward to your participation here.

Sincerely,

Andrew H. Fenton, MD, FACS
