Because 200,000 women will be diagnosed with breast cancer this year, we also understand the importance of breast cancer screenings. Women living in Summit County who are uninsured may qualify for mammography assistance through Akron General’s Muffins for Mammograms.

Akron General Medical Center, the Main Street Gourmet and 94.9 WQMX raise funds during the month of October, National Breast Cancer Awareness Month, to help offset the cost.
