Whether you're a student athlete or a weekend warrior, Akron General's Sports & Physical Therapy believes that education is a vital aspect of improving overall health and performance. Our approach to treatment emphasizes education and active patient involvement to manage treatment, decrease pain quickly, and restore function and independence. We offer community outreach programs including continuing education for coaches or seminars for athletes including skiers, runners, soccer players, cyclists and more to teach injury prevention, conditioning techniques and nutrition.
