Primary Care services are available at Akron General Medical Center through the Internal Medicine Center of Akron (IMCA), a group of physicians who specialize in internal, adult medicine and by the Akron General Center for Family Medicine, a group of physicians specializing in family medicine - for all ages.

Patients of the Akron General Center for Family Medicine and the Internal Medicine Center of Akron benefit from the experience of board-certified physicians skilled in internal and family medicine, but also access to the specialists and the technology of Akron General Medical Center.

Akron General is a teaching hospital and therefore medical residents participate in and are an
important part of patient care at both practices.
