Women's Heart Health Program

Lifestyle changes can add years to your life...and life to your years
Working with area doctors, Akron General offers Women's Heart Health, a program designed to increase understanding that heart diseaes is the leading killer of women. Our program will educate you individually or as a group about cardiovascular disease risks. We will help you develop personalized steps to reduce your risks and improve your heart health.

As part of the program, you will also receive information by mail about our year-round free and low-cost community programs including risk screenings for cardiovascular disease, stroke and peripheral vascular disease (PVD), support groups and classes.
