The latest advancement in diagnostic technology is available at Akron General Medical Center - the new 64-slice Computed Tomography (CT) scanner, which allows physicians to visualize clear 3-D images of blocked blood vessels in the heart and brain. It is able to scan the whole body in less than 10 seconds and capture images of the heart and arteries in fewer than five heartbeats.
 A full compliment of diagnostic testing is available at Akron General, and many tests are also available at the Akron General Health & Wellness Center - West, including echocardiograms, stress tests, pulmonary function and more.
Testing can be scheduled with a doctor's order at the Heart & Vascular Center or at the Health & Wellness Center - West by calling 330-996-5760.
