Physicians

Patients are usually referred to the Akron General Wound Center by their physicians. Our staff inlcudes physicians specializing in Dermatology, Foot and Ankle Orthopaedic Surgery, Plastic Surgery and Podiatry, along with two certified nurse practitioners and certified wound and ostomy nurses. A vascular surgeon is readily available for consultation. The Wound Center benchmarks with other wound centers across the country.
