Transitional Year Residency Program

For students pursuing careers in the specialties of anesthesiology and diagnostic radiology, the residency review committees of these disciplines have developed an optimal curriculum for Transitional Year residents, which will be taken into consideration when rotation schedules are formulated.

Rotation Schedule

1 month Emergency Medicine required
1 month Ambulatory Medicine required
2 months General Internal Medicine required
4 months of any combination of rotations in: General Internal Medicine, Family Practice, General Surgery, OB/GYN, Pediatrics or Emergency Medicine
4 months of electives in rotations of choice
