Objectives:
- To provide medical students with necessary exposure to assess and care for the adult cardiac patient.
Description:
- Participate in daily teaching rounds with the attending and house staff team.
- Will be exposed to the diagnostic procedures and therapeutic intervention necessary in the care of the adult cardiac patient.
- Work up at least three patients per week.
- Attend daily EKG teaching sessions to gain proficiency in electrocardiographic diagnosis.
- Work with the attending physician in outpatient practice.
- Students may elect to work with any of the facility by notifying our Medical Education office at the time of application.
