Objectives:
- To familiarize students with the necessary knowledge to assess patients with gastrointestinal disorders in both the inpatient and outpatient setting.
Description:
- Formulate diagnosis by assimilating clinical findings, laboratory results and findings from GI procedures.
- Perform as an integral part of the teaching team in daily rounds with the attending and resident physicians.
- Have daily exposure to endoscopic procedures as scheduled.
- Students may elect to work with any of the faculty by notifying our Medical Education office at the time of application.
