Objectives:

To understand the basic
structure and function of the musculoskeletal system.

To gain a basic
understanding of the speciality of orthopaedic surgery.
Description:
-
Gain skill in history
and physical examination of the musculoskeletal system.

Assist in orthopaedic
operations.
-
Participate in ward
rounds with orthopaedic residents and attending.
-
Attend orthopaedic
conferences.
-
Participate in a reading
program under supervision.
-
Gain an understanding
of trauma in the Emergency Department.

Attend clinic and specialty
office with orthopaedic faculty.
