At Akron General Medical Center, our nurses are deeply committed to their profession and eager to help student nurses take those first steps toward their nursing careers. We believe we have a responsibility to help new nurses and understand the need for professional role models and a supportive environment. Through our Nurse Mentor Program at Akron General, we match student nurses with RNs or LPNs who continue to provide support as the students make the transition to RN or LPN.
