Outpatient Lab, Pre-Surgical Testing and several Radiology Services are located in the Ambulatory Care Center, just across from the Medical Center in the glass building #301. Procedures are done in the Physician Office Building (POB).

If you are scheduled to have outpatient lab work, pre-surgical testing, radiology services or procedures, be sure you have the physician orders with you or your physician's office has faxed them to us prior to your appointment. These orders must be completed by the physician and include the appropriate information.

Parking
Parking is available in the deck adjacent to the Ambulatory Care Center building. Patients enter the Ambulatory Care Center from the Outpatient East Entrance. Procedures are done in the Physician Office Building (POB) and parking is available in the deck adjacent to the building.

Registration
For outpatient testing or procedures at Akron General Medical Center, patients should check in at the Patient Registration Desk, located on the first floor of the building. Pre-registering by phone, may speed up your registration process
