Registered Nurse - Critical Care CVICU and CCU Positions 7p-730a
Under the direction of the Director, the RN, Critical Care, is accountable for delivery of cost effective, quality patient care, utilizing case management principles, the nursing process, and knowledge from various health care disciplines. The RN, Critical Care, is responsible for providing nursing care to adult, geriatric, and sometimes adolescent patients based on established standards of nursing care, by managing assigned personnel and by collaborating with members of other health care disciplines. As expected for all employees, the RN, Critical Care,is responsible for promoting and demonstrating the nursing caring standards and guest relation standards in the fulfillment of the role.
Qualifications: Must be a graduate from an accredited school of nursing that provides clinical experience under the supervision of qualified faculty and be currently licensed as a registered nurse in the state of Ohio; BSN preferred. Must have six months experience in nursing for CSU position. Must satisfactorily complete AGMC RN and Critical Care Unit orientation programs and Critical Care exam. Must satisfactorily complete/pass all mandated programs as required by policy and unit-based competencies/skills as required. Must obtain ACLS certification within one year of employment in Intensive or Progressive Intensive Care. Must obtain TNCC certification, as per unit requirement, within 1 year of employment in Intensive and Progressive Intensive Care.
