Akron General's Health & Wellness Center West located in Montrose has an On-call/PRN position available for a Pulmonary Technologist. The Pulmonary Technologist performs routine and advanced high quality Pulmonary Function Testing as prescribed by Physicians and in accordance with the established techniques, practices and procedures and administrative policies of Akron General Health System and the Health & Wellness Center West.

Qualifications: Qualifications include completion of a respiratory therapy program from an approved school. Current license by the State of Ohio Board for Respiratory Care. Registered by the National Board of Respiratory Care. Prior Pulmonary Function experience required. Numeric aptitude to calculate rapidly and accurately and knowledge of calculator and computer. Prior experience in the clinical field preferred. Maintains current Basic Life Support (BLS).
