Akron General Hospice of Visiting Nurse Service (VNS) is offering a free eight-week “Growing Through Grief Series” beginning September 5 from 2–4 p.m. or 6–8 p.m. at the Hospice of VNS Care Center, 3358 Ridgewood Road, Copley. Learn what to expect during the grieving process. Share stories, emotions, victories and hopes, and receive tools for handling the normal grief response. The group will meet every Thursday for eight weeks; choose to attend either the afternoon or evening group. The series is open to the community at no charge. Enrollment is limited, so please call to reserve a place.
